I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad with Ryzen 5625u and am happy. It was $50 cheaper than the Intel 1235u version, and benchmarks look similar. I was cautious about AMD after a bad 2400g desktop experience, but Ryzen has improved a lot now.

Yes, the CPU is great. I have the full version. Only issue is heating. Better cooling design would help.

Aditya, I don’t think thermals are a problem. My HP Pavilion 14 doesn’t heat up or have battery issues even on light use for hours on a bed. The chip is excellent, and the Pavilion chassis fits it well.

My laptop is an HP Pavilion 15 Ryzen 5 5625U. It’s a good processor and cheaper than Intel i5 11th gen.
