AMD Ryzen 9 AI 370 HX has 4 full Zen5 cores and 8 light Zen5c cores, similar to Intel’s p and e cores. It should be listed as 4 P cores (8 threads) and 8 E cores (16 threads).

From what I know, comparing Intel E-cores and AMD C-cores isn’t accurate.

AMD C core has less cache to save space, but performance of Zen 5 and Zen 5c is very close. Intel's E cores are much slower than its P cores.

Zen 5c cores are made on TSMC 3nm N3, Zen 5 cores on TSMC 4nm N4P. Zen 5c is 25% smaller in size, so 8 Zen5c fit where 6 Zen5 fit. Features are same except smaller cache. This is different from Intel’s design. Without this, AI 9 365 would have 8 Zen5 cores, and AI 9 370HX 10 Zen5 cores. The new chip is 30% larger but has 50% more cores.

Top AMD CPU with excellent single and multi-core performance and high efficiency. Looking forward to Intel's Arrow Lake mobile chips. Desktop chips disappointed, but Meteor Lake is better. Nvidia laptop GPUs won't likely come with it. 285h vs this will be interesting.
